Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Magnet. By creating an account you agree to them. If you use Magnet on behalf of a business, you confirm you can bind that business.

1. The service

Magnet automates responses to Instagram comments and delivers content through DMs using Instagram's official APIs. The service requires an Instagram Business or Creator account; personal accounts are not supported by Instagram's platform.

2. Your responsibilities

  • You must comply with Instagram's Terms of Use and Meta's Platform Terms — including not using Magnet for spam, harassment, or misleading engagement schemes.
  • You own or have rights to the files and messages you distribute through Magnet.
  • You are the data controller for audience data (usernames, emails) your campaigns collect; use it lawfully, honor deletion requests, and don't buy or sell it.
  • Keep your login credentials secure; you're responsible for activity in your workspace.

3. Platform dependence

Magnet depends on Meta's APIs, permissions, and rate limits, which can change or be withdrawn without notice. If Instagram restricts an account or capability, the affected automations pause. We are not responsible for actions Instagram takes against your account, though we design strictly within their published policies to minimize that risk.

4. Plans and limits

Free and paid plans have monthly DM quotas. When a quota is reached, further deliveries wait until the quota resets or the plan is upgraded. We never charge for overage without explicit consent. Fees, once billing launches, are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Acceptable use

  • No unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content or campaigns.
  • No attempting to circumvent Instagram's policies or Magnet's rate and quota controls.
  • No reselling access to Magnet without a written agreement with us.

6. Termination

You can delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the platform integration at risk, with notice where practical. On deletion, your data is removed after a 14-day grace period.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for follower or revenue outcomes.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
